Catalogue and invitation for a fictional exhibition dedicated to Yves Klein.

The concept is based entirely on Yves Klein's Chelsea Hotel Manifest – a passionate letter to his critics that Klein wrote after the fiasco his first solo exhibition faced in New York. The manifesto is a verbalisation of his frustration about the "mutual misunderstanding", which becomes almost tangible when we see how words and entire sentences are crossed over, rewritten, paraphrased. We wanted to capture this and present Yves Klein in the rawest manner: through his own scrambled thoughts and words. Group project with Marcus Lackman och Sofia Ekelund.
